What is this all about? I’m more than halfway through January and I’m finally thinking about resolutions?
No, I’m thinking about sticking with resolutions that I made on Jan. 1st. How long does it take you to forget your New Year’s Resolutions?
This year, I’m going to
1. Make time for more fun and more girlfriend time in 2014!
2. Be more caring of SELF, healthier and lose some weight. I’ve committed to going to my local health center four times a week & so far, so good!
3. Blog for Antiques Iowa! Today’s the DAY!
Don’t these seem like easy resolutions to keep? I asked for help on #3. My daughter established a blog for me a year ago and I haven’t blogged since. It isn’t that I don’t like writing. (If you follow my Facebook pages, you know that I love quotes.) It isn’t that I’m shy about sharing my life experiences. It’s just that I don’t know how to get the words and the pictures together on the page to look creatively wonderful.
I decided to start blogging with a quote that is great for January and a new year:
What an amazing thing to look forward to! We all have some ordinary miracles coming. It could be a wedding. It could be the birth of a child or grandchild. Or it could be a new friend coming our way.
One of the best things about Antiques Iowa is that as the front door opens, I have the chance of meeting a new friend or renewing an old friendship. My customers are my friends. I may not remember your name, but I never forget what you collect. The quest is the FUN. Sharing stories about how, when and where you found some precious thing can create hours of storytelling. And it is just like fish stories, where the fish gets bigger with each tale. 🙂
Some of the best days of your life haven’t happened yet; especially if you make an impact in someone else’s world!
Thanks for my first “email”! Best wishes for all of us, hope to see you soon, lots to talk about…I like the new one for more GIRLFRIEND time! Need it! Judy
